at Modern Maturity Center Inc in Dover, Delaware, United States Job Description SUMMARY Maintains walk-in refrigerators, freezers, and storerooms in safe, clean, and orderly condition. Monitors cost, quality, and inventory control and completes any other tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Completes paperwork such as menus and inventories to assist supervisor Uses food production sheet to plan work duties daily Uses monthly menu to complete food orders Puts away TCS/ perishable shipment in chill boxes to ensure correct temperature Provides supervisor with suggestions on training topics for section leaders and staff Monitor compliance with health code regulations and health inspection reports Stocks prep room with supplies and food Maintains stock, walk-ins, prep room, storage rooms Monitors costs and where to save money on waste, chemicals, paper goods, food Quality and Inventory Control - oversight of staff removing food from the site, ensures that all food is put away at the end of the day Participates in planning menus, preparing and apportioning food, utilizing food surpluses and leftovers Meets with vendors to maintain stock and inventory, maintains an open line of communication with vendors to resolve quantity or quality control problems Ensures that food is properly stored and accessible to the cooks Other duties may be assigned To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
