Employment Type:
Part-Time / Hourly Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a reliable and detail ‑ oriented Retail Processor to support the efficient flow of donated goods and prepare merchandise for the sales floor . This role is essential in receiving, sorting, and pricing donations according to established guidelines while maintaining strong productivity and accuracy. The ideal candidate brings retail awareness, good judgment in identifying and valuing items, and the flexibility to assist across multiple areas of store operations to help advance Goodwill's mission in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, record, sort, and process donated goods following Kaizen guidelines and established production standards. Evaluate and price items accurately using the pricing guide and strong product knowledge to prepare merchandise for the sales floor. Maintain productivity by meeting or exceeding daily production goals while supporting continuous process improvement. Assist across multiple areas of store operations, including donation intake , merchandising , and general cleaning , as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in retail and/or stock handling preferred. Capable of follow ing all processing and pricing guidelines. Able to see and recognize colors. Knowledge of b asic math skills . Ability to stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull and move items ; lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds . Comfortable with standing for long periods of time and the possibility of occasionally working where temperatures and climate can fluctuate . Why Goodwill?
