Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grocery Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our grocery store runs smoothly by managing inventory, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting. Responsibilities Manage inventory levels, ensuring products are stocked and organized on shelves. Utilize RF scanners for efficient inventory control and tracking. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload merchandise safely. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including checking in deliveries. Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including aisles, storage areas, and produce sections. Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and product locations. Perform merchandising tasks to ensure attractive displays that promote sales. Engage in heavy lifting as required to move products throughout the store. Support cashiering duties when needed, including handling transactions accurately. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers. Experience Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred. Familiarity with inventory management systems and retail math is advantageous. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customers. Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly stockroom and sales floor. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
