Overview The TwinEagles Club is a member-owned, full-service country Club with 717 residences across approximately 1,115 acres of breathtaking subtropical wilderness, meticulously preserved to offer panoramic views and immersive encounters with Florida wildlife. The Club boasts an Audubon International Gold Signature Sanctuary certification in recognition of its ecological stewardship. Members are offered a refined, yet relaxed environment known for its hospitality, camaraderie, and exceptional amenities. Golf is at the heart of TwinEagles tradition. The Club is home to two acclaimed courses: The Talon Course , designed and renovated by Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II (latest renovation completed in 2021), is celebrated for its length, challenging approach shots, and undulating greens. The Talon Course also served as the host venue for the PGA Tour Champions' Chubb Classic (formerly the ACE Group Classic) from 2002 to 2006 and 2012 to 2018. The Eagle Course , crafted by Steve Smyers and Patrick Andrews, is known for its architectural brilliance, strategic design features, and visual elegance, with updates made in 2019 for enhanced playability. In addition to exceptional golf, Members enjoy diverse culinary experiences across sleek venues. There is a contemporary, open-air Grill with an oval island bar—perfect for sunset dinners or private gatherings; the casual Midway Café offering light bites, handmade pastries, and smoothies; and the lively Tiki Bar nestled in the pool oasis for shareable plates and tropical cocktails and monthly entertainment. The Club also offers an energized social calendar, featuring themed gatherings, cooking classes, glow putt nights, Tiki Tuesdays at the Tiki Bar, and more—plus member-led clubs ranging from games and crafting to philanthropic pursuits. The Sports & Wellness Center at TwinEagles offers an additional social aspect for Members, including personal training, physical therapy, massage therapy, swimming, bocce, pickleball and tennis. Assistant Merchandiser supports the daily operations of the Golf Shop while assisting with the execution of the Club's merchandising strategy and retail operations. This role helps maintain a premium, Member-focused retail experience that reflects the luxury standards of The TwinEagles Club. Working closely with the Director of Golf, Merchandise Manager, and Golf Professional staff, this position plays an important role in managing the golf shop environment, assisting with inventory management, supporting merchandising initiatives, and ensuring exceptional service at the golf shop counter. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, retail awareness, and a commitment to hospitality and service excellence.   • Accommodation of Members and Guests Essential Responsibilities General Responsibilities Engage Members and their guests as they enter the golf shop and provide a welcoming environment.
  • Greet Members and guests promptly and professionally at all times.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist Members with purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure the golf shop environment is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Follow all policies and procedures of the golf operation.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to Member concerns or questions.
  • Maintain accurate records and communication regarding inventory, orders, and retail performance.
  • Demonstrate the ability to anticipate operational needs and address issues proactively.
  • Communicate effectively with Members, guests, and fellow TEAM members.
  • Maintain composure and professionalism during busy periods and Club events.
Specific Responsibilities Golf Shop Counter & Tee Sheet Operations Manage daily golf shop counter operations and serve as a primary point of contact for Members and guests. Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally while assisting Members with tee time reservations, event questions, merchandise inquiries, and general Club information. Process tee time reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the Club's tee sheet system (ForeTees), ensuring accuracy and adherence to Club policies. Monitor and manage the daily tee sheet while assisting with pairing adjustments, waitlists, and Member requests. Communicate daily tee sheet activity with the Golf Professional staff and Outside Operations TEAM to ensure smooth operations on the first tee and practice facilities. Assist with Member check-in procedures and daily play operations. Process golf shop sales transactions including merchandise purchases, special orders, and Member charge accounts. Provide information regarding golf events, tournaments, and Club programming. Assist with organizing scorecards, cart signs, and daily play materials. Support pace of play monitoring and operational flow during busy periods of Member play. Retail & Merchandising Support Assist with executing the Club's merchandising strategy and seasonal product assortment. Ensure all merchandise is properly tagged, priced, and displayed according to Club standards. Maintain visually appealing displays highlighting featured brands and seasonal merchandise. Assist with receiving, unpacking, and displaying incoming merchandise shipments. Support trunk shows, promotional sales events, and new product launches. Assist in promoting merchandise through Member engagement and product knowledge. Inventory Management Receive merchandise shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders. Enter merchandise into the POS system and maintain accurate product records. Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory. Maintain organization of the retail storeroom and stock areas. Monitor product movement and communicate reordering needs. Golf Shop Operations Assist with daily opening and closing procedures of the golf shop. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional retail environment. Support merchandise needs for golf events, tournaments, and Member-guest activities. Assist with tournament merchandise orders and tee gift preparation. Process custom orders and logo merchandise requests for Members. Ensure golf shop presentation aligns with the standards of a luxury private club. Member Service & Sales Provide personalized retail recommendations and concierge-level service to Members. Assist Members with product selection, sizing, and custom orders. Build relationships with Members to understand product preferences and trends. Support promotional sales initiatives and merchandising programs. Promote merchandise through engagement and product knowledge. TEAM Support & Training Assist in training golf shop staff on retail sales techniques and product knowledge. Maintain retail presentation standards across all shop areas. Support leadership in reinforcing service standards and operational procedures. Foster a positive TEAM culture consistent with TwinEagles' values.
