Responsibilities Stock shelves with fresh produce, packaged goods, and other grocery items, ensuring products are faced and organized attractively. Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory levels, process shipments, and update stock records. Load and unload delivery trucks safely using pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual handling techniques. Maintain inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, identifying discrepancies, and reporting shortages or overages. Assist with shipping & receiving tasks to ensure timely processing of incoming supplies and outgoing orders. Keep the store clean and organized by performing routine maintenance, cleaning shelves, and ensuring proper packaging of products. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products, locating items, and supporting sales initiatives. Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays that highlight promotions or seasonal items. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and uphold safety standards. Communicate effectively with team members across shifts in multiple languages if bilingual skills are available. Qualifications Previous warehouse or retail experience is preferred; familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods; physical stamina is essential. Experience operating equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (certification preferred). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and stock control. Excellent communication skills; ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment. Multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases. Knowledge of retail math principles for accurate stock counting and pricing adjustments. Ability to follow safety protocols during load & unload activities and maintain cleanliness standards.
