Over the years, Bailey's has become a trusted local destination and award-winning market for both everyday shoppers and food enthusiasts alike. Position Summary The Cupboard Associate plays a key role in keeping our in-store operations running smoothly by ensuring accuracy between our physical inventory and digital system. This position serves as the main contact for vendor deliveries, supports data entry within the Clover POS system, and helps maintain a clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing sales floor. It's a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoys problem-solving in a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities Inventory & Data Accuracy:
Maintain precise product records by entering item details, pricing, and naming conventions into the Clover POS system with a high level of accuracy.
Receiving & Vendor Coordination:
Welcome incoming vendors, verify deliveries against invoices, process documentation, and ensure new inventory is received and logged promptly.
Delivery Review & Issue Tracking:
Identify and document shortages or damaged items by taking photos, communicating with management, and updating records accordingly.
Stocking & Merchandising:
Keep shelves consistently stocked and organized by rotating product from backstock to the sales floor, conducting price checks, and ensuring displays are clean and well-maintained.
Store Presentation:
Maintain a polished shopping environment by front-facing products, correcting pricing errors, and ensuring the sales floor is clean, organized, and inviting.
Customer Support:
Engage with customers on the floor, assist with product selection, and provide helpful information about our offerings. What Success Looks Like Consistently accurate inventory data with zero entry errors Clear, complete documentation of all delivery discrepancies and damages Smooth product flow from delivery to sales floor with no bottlenecks Fully stocked, well-maintained shelves throughout the store A clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment at all times Qualifications & Skills Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Comfortable and confident interacting with customers in a retail setting Interest in cooking, fresh foods, and specialty grocery items Ability to adapt to changing priorities, customer needs, and product demand Strong teamwork skills with the ability to also take initiative independently
Pay:
$15.00 per hour
