Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stocker to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring products are properly stocked and organized, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities Receive, unload, and load shipments using material handling equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts while adhering to safe lifting practices. Stock shelves, organize products, and maintain clean storage areas to ensure accessibility and safety. Conduct regular inventory control checks using inventory management systems to track stock levels accurately. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against purchase orders and documentation. Support retail store operations by merchandising products, replenishing stock on the sales floor, and ensuring proper product placement. Operate warehouse equipment safely during manual handling, loading, unloading, and transporting materials throughout the facility. Communicate effectively with team members across shifts to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth warehouse flow. Skills Proficiency in operating RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and inventory management systems. Experience in warehouse operations or retail store environments with a focus on stocking, merchandising, and shipping & receiving. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate stock records. Effective communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for supporting diverse teams and customer interactions. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and processing transactions accurately. Knowledge of grocery store or retail product knowledge is advantageous for efficient stocking and customer service support.
