Overview Join our dynamic team as a Stock Person and become a vital part of our warehouse and retail operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, handling materials, and ensuring the smooth flow of products throughout the store and warehouse. Your proactive approach will help maintain organized stock levels, support sales efforts, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in inventory control, material handling, and customer service while working in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and efficiency. Duties Receive, unload, and load shipments using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory movement. Stock shelves, organize storage areas, and maintain clean workspaces to promote safety and accessibility. Conduct regular inventory counts using inventory management systems to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies. Assist with packaging products for shipment or display, ensuring proper labeling and presentation. Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing orders for delivery or transfer within the store or warehouse. Maintain accurate records of stock movements, damages, or shortages through detailed documentation. Provide excellent customer service by answering product questions, guiding customers through store layouts, and supporting retail sales efforts when needed. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience is highly preferred. Proficiency with RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and stock management. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying inventory data. Knowledge of retail product merchandising, packaging, shipping & receiving procedures. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining safety standards and adhering to organizational policies. Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
