Position Purpose:
Under minimum supervision, coordinates all activities to ensure the timely flow of parts and materials between any and all vendors to support all GAC customers.Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Responsible to ensure timely shipment of parts/materials to and from vendors to GAC customers. Responsible to hold all buyers accountable for purchase order lead-times. Directly involved in impacting OTC sales revenues. Coordinate with OTC sales staff to provide world wide customer support. Identify corrective actions and possible work arounds when typical GAC and GDAS cannot provide parts in support of schedule requirements; initiate corrective actions and monitor progress to ensure successful prevention of recurring problems. Coordinate all parts issues to ensure proper documentation is provided by either vendors and/orGAC ODARS.
Monitor all Corridor Sales Orders to assure proper processing within all GAC departments. Equally contribute towards successful achievement of both monetary and organizational goals.Additional Functions:
Travel domestically and/or internationally as required. .Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements:
Must be computer literate and use necessary software ( Microsoft Word, Excel, and Corridor experience preferred). Must have demonstrated leadership ability. Employee must demonstrate the ability to work through issues with Corridor system independently and must also demonstrate a track record of leadership. Open to and able to learning skills for completing in depth Project Management tasks. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and good verbal and written communication skills. This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.Additional Information
