Job Description
A Liquor Store Stocker is responsible for receiving, organizing, stocking, and maintaining inventory in a liquor store while ensuring shelves are clean, full, and properly displayed for customers. Responsibilities Receive and unload deliveries of beer, wine, spirits, and other store merchandise. Stock shelves, coolers, and displays according to store standards. Rotate inventory using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method to ensure product freshness. Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to management. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage area and sales floor. Assist with pricing, labeling, and promotional displays. Move and lift boxes, cases, and kegs as needed. Help customers locate products and answer basic questions. Follow all company policies and state regulations regarding alcohol sales. Assist with general store maintenance and housekeeping duties. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Customer service experience is a plus. Must meet the minimum age requirements for handling alcohol according to local laws.
