Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Responsibilities Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately using POS systems. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Engage in upselling techniques to promote products and enhance sales opportunities. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Maintain an organized stock area, ensuring products are well-displayed and readily available for customers. Perform basic math calculations for cash handling, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions. Assist in supervising junior staff members when necessary, fostering a collaborative team environment. Keep the checkout area clean and orderly, adhering to company standards for cleanliness and safety. Requirements Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred but not required. Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills is essential. Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
