FUNCTION
The Building Materials Associate provides effective administrative support to the site location, serves as first contact with vendors and customers, and offers consultation to existing clientele.
KEY ACTIVITIES
+ Visualize, fulfil, and implement the company vision and core values. + Manage incoming calls and information requests in a professional, efficient, and effective manner. + Assist in operational and sales activities. + Greet and assess customer needs in order to direct customer traffic appropriately. + Engage customers, vendors and business associates in a friendly and professional manner, providing input, direction, and support. + Efficiently process basic customer orders/quotes and other transactions. + Assist customers in problem resolution. + Develop a clear understanding of customer needs and provide relevant design and project support. + Organize and distribute incoming and outgoing mail. + Order and maintain office supplies inventory. + Provide comprehensive support to sales team and management. + Manage the purchasing, inventory, and stocking of retail items, ensuring optimal product availability, timely restocking, and accurate inventory records to support sales and meet customer demand. + Provide exceptional customer service in the yard by assisting customers with product selection, loading, and ensuring a positive and efficient shopping experience.
