Birkenstock Retail Wilmette, IL 60091 Part-time Part-time
OVERVIEW
We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer service to every person who shops our store. We are in search of 2 hard-working and positive individuals to join our team. At this time, we are looking to fill two part-time positions (16-25 hours/week). One position has the potential to increase to full-time. Knowledge of and passion for Birkenstock footwear is preferred, as is your willingness to learn, grow and become an expert in everything Birkenstock. - Engage with customers to help them find the right product to meet their needs
- Help to maintain a neat and clean appearance of the sales floor
- Ring customers at the register
- Receive, display and stock daily shipments of merchandise
- Perform routine housekeeping duties (vacuuming, trash collection, cleaning, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANTS
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Works with honesty and integrity in all situations
- Positive and outgoing disposition
- Detail oriented
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Able to thrive in both slow and fast paced environments
- Enjoy meeting and talking with all types of customers
- Frequent physical movement: crouching, walking, squatting, lifting, getting up and down off of the floor while assisting customers.
WORK SCHEDULE
There will be a mix of morning and/or afternoon shifts. Saturday and/or Sunday availability is a must. Shifts can last anywhere from 3 to 8 hours. We always do our best to adapt to the scheduling needs of our staff members.BENEFITS
