Job Description

Caring for cattle. Duties include but are not limited to the following: hauling water to livestock out on cornstalks/fields. Maintaining hot wire fence for cattle. Checking and feeding cattle daily. Assist during calving. Helping calves thrive after birth in potentially cold weather, drying calves, ear tagging, weighing, collecting information for heard record keeping. Assist in preparing cows for breeding programs. Assist preparing and caring for young bulls developing for sale. Other cattle care as needed depending on weather and circumstances. Employer will provide a company pickup, with a seating capacity of four, at no cost for workers to use for transportation to/from employer provided housing to the work site each day. Workers will have access to company vehicles for personal errands; however, may be responsible for fuel for personal use. Workers who chose to decline employer provide housing also forego employer provided transportation. Employer will provide one or more vehicles to adequately transport the number of workers requested. Available vehicles may consist of pickups (capacity of 2
