In person Job Overview Star Market is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Grocery Stocker to support daily store operations. This role is responsible for stocking and rotating merchandise, maintaining organized shelves, checking product quality, and assisting customers while keeping the grocery department clean, safe, and well-maintained. Key Responsibilities Stock and replenish grocery products on shelves and displays. Organize merchandise according to store standards and product categories. Rotate products and check expiration dates and product quality. Maintain accurate and attractive shelf displays. Assist customers with locating products and answering basic questions. Receive, unload, sort, and move merchandise as needed. Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs. Remove damaged or expired products according to store procedures. Maintain clean, organized, and safe grocery aisles and work areas. Assist with promotional displays and price changes. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Communicate product issues, inventory concerns, and customer requests to supervisors. Support other grocery department tasks during busy periods. Qualifications Previous grocery, retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude. Ability to follow instructions and company procedures. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced supermarket environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift merchandise as required. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
