Job Description

Job Requirements Over sees daily supply flow within the storeroom and receiving areas, ensuring the timely and accurate distribution of supplies to both clinical and non-clinical departments.
  • Conducts routine audits of supply areas to identify discontinued, obsolete, or incorrect items; coordinates replacement with approved products to ensure compliance and standardization.
  • Collaborates with clinical units to review, adjust, and maintain PAR levels based on utilization trends and operational needs to ensure product availability and minimize waste.
  • Monitors inventory processes including stocking, replenishment, and cycle counts to maintain accuracy and system integrity.
  • Serves as a point of escalation for supply-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinates and supports staff workflow by providing guidance, prioritizing daily tasks, and reinforcing adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assists leadership with operational initiatives including process improvement efforts, supply optimization, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensures all materials management transactions are accurately documented in the inventory management system in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Supports receiving, storage, and distribution functions including inspection and proper placement of incoming supplies.
  • Packages and prepares outgoing shipments in accordance with established procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
  • Assists materials supervisor and manager with staff training and assignment of work duties and completes other lead assignments as directed.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned Work Experience
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Three years experience healthcare materials management or Warehouse operations
  • One year lead or supervisory experience
