Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier, Sales Associate, and Stocker, where you'll be the friendly face that welcomes customers and enhances their shopping experience. In this multifaceted role, you'll handle transactions efficiently at the POS (Point of Sale) system, assist customers with product information and demos, restock shelves, and ensure the store remains inviting and well-organized. Duties Operate the POS system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with confidence. Deliver engaging product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions clearly, and assisting with product selection. Restock shelves and merchandise displays regularly to maintain an attractive store appearance and ensure product availability. Manage inventory by stocking new shipments efficiently and organizing stockroom areas for easy access. Uphold phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and implementing promotional displays aligned with store strategies. Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions. Previous supervising experience is a plus for guiding team members during busy shifts. Ability to conduct product demos confidently and clearly communicate features to diverse customers. Bilingual skills are highly valued for serving a broader customer base effectively. Strong communication skills combined with excellent phone etiquette to assist customers professionally over the phone or in person. Upselling techniques to recommend additional products or services that meet customer needs while increasing sales revenue. Experience in merchandising, stocking, and retail sales within a grocery store or similar retail environment is preferred. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations swiftly.
