Job Description

Grocery employees provide a high level of customer service. They are responsible for ensuring product is rotated, within date, and properly displayed on shelves. Job requires organizing of the dry goods in the storage area as well as keeping the shelves stocked. They inspect displays for damaged or out-of-date items and remove such products for sale as well as attaching the price to merchandise. Additionally, they maintain cleanliness of the grocery sections which may include cleaning shelves and cooler glass. May be required to climb ladders to access merchandise in the storage area. Job requires standing for long periods of time and lifting a variety of different objects varying in weight. Work shift is approximately 8 hours.
