Job Description

Description:

Producers record audio & video content, edit for approval, and distribute it to our community as directed. They are, simply put, the technical expertise behind what we do, and this role represents an opportunity to work alongside SAU professionals and real clients. Each producer has a specific podcast or content specialty and is responsible for

the continuity of their own project over the course of a semester.

Hours:
5-10 per week This role includes but is not limited to:

Using the

•Adobe Suite to edit audio and video content for HOME.fm

Using a live camera switcher to record video podcasts & other longform discussions inside the HOME.fm studio.

Use YouTube and Podbean to distribute content according to SAU's guidelines.

Assisting your peers in creating content that is educational and representative of the university's values.

Identifying the needs of HOME.fm's business clients and bringing ideas to address them.

Engaging with followers and listeners to answer questions, give away prizes, and grow our brand.

Committing to incremental improvement, regular reviews, and striving for excellence as a student and as an employee.

•DaVinci Resolve is an excellent free editor if you are unable to use the Adobe Suite. However, all projects must be compatible with current Adobe formats. Transportation is preferred but not mandatory.
