Job Description

Grocery Clerk Job Description Grocery clerks are responsible to make sure the grocery section of the store is well-stocked for our customers. They assist in receiving, storing, and stocking of products while ensuring proper product rotation and quality. They create and build product displays, ensure proper fronting of products, and handle product damages and credits according to company policy. Grocery clerks must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers in locating items. In addition, grocery clerks may be required to perform all duties of a cashier.
Duties:
Grocery Clerks unload trucks; process, price, and display products; hang shelf tags, organize backroom, sweep and mop, bag groceries and take to cars, retrieve carts from parking lot, cleaning, maintain equipment and work area. Using equipment including box cutter, pallet jacks, power jacks, cardboard baler, floor scrubber, ladders and lifts. and other duties as assigned. Must be 18 to use powered equipment.
Qualifications:
Standing, Reaching, Stooping, Kneel, Bending, Move, Communicate Basic Math Skills Requirements:
