Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Stocker / Stocking Associate and become a vital part of our retail and warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently stocking shelves, managing inventory, and ensuring the sales floor remains organized, clean, and inviting for customers. Your proactive approach will help create a seamless shopping experience while maintaining accurate inventory control. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your organizational skills, work with diverse products, and contribute to a vibrant retail environment. Whether handling produce, heavy lifting, or operating equipment like RF scanners and pallet jacks, your efforts will directly impact store success and customer satisfaction. Duties Restock shelves promptly with incoming merchandise, including produce and grocery items, ensuring product freshness and proper placement Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory levels and update stock records in real-time Conduct regular inventory management tasks including cycle counts, stock audits, and inventory control procedures Assist with shipping & receiving processes by loading and unloading shipments efficiently and safely Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, backrooms, and sales floors through routine cleaning and organization Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and ensuring signage is clear and accurate Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with locating items or answering product questions in multiple languages if applicable Perform packaging tasks for outgoing shipments or customer orders to ensure products are secure during transit Support retail sales activities through cashiering when needed, including handling transactions accurately using retail math skills Skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and stock accuracy Knowledge of inventory control procedures within a grocery store or retail environment Ability to lift heavy loads regularly while maintaining proper safety protocols Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes, merchandising standards, and retail math calculations Ability to perform heavy lifting comfortably and maintain physical stamina throughout shifts Proven warehouse experience or retail experience that demonstrates reliability and teamwork Good maintenance habits for cleaning storage areas and ensuring equipment is in working order Customer service orientation with strong interpersonal skills to assist shoppers effectively This role is paid offering you the opportunity to develop valuable skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to a well-organized store that prioritizes customer satisfaction.
