Responsibilities Stock shelves with fresh produce, ensuring items are properly organized, labeled, and appealing to customers Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely for loading, unloading, and moving produce supplies Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the produce area, including cleaning displays and equipment Assist customers with product inquiries, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and support their shopping experience Support shipping & receiving processes by loading and unloading deliveries efficiently while adhering to safe lifting practices Collaborate with team members on merchandising efforts to promote produce items effectively and reduce waste Skills Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience is highly desirable for understanding inventory control and materials handling, but not does not disqualify. Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels, product placement, and cleanliness standards Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising techniques, and retail math enhances your ability to support sales goals Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting heavy produce loads regularly Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude that fosters positive shopping experiences Be willing to be a team player, and be open minded.
