H-2A Adverse Housing Compensation Adjustment -$1.86?-- Wage for H-2A workers provided housing is $11.60 Feed and water livestock and monitor food and water supplies. Herd livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales, trucks, or other enclosures. Examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease, and to check physical characteristics, such as rate of weight gain. Provide medical treatment, such as administering medications and vaccinations, or arrange for veterinarians to provide more extensive treatment. Mark livestock to identify ownership and grade, using brands, tags, paint, or tattoos. Segregate animals according to weight, age, color, and physical condition. Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences. Move equipment or livestock from one location to another, manually or using trucks or carts. Mix feed, additives, and medicines in prescribed portions. Spray livestock with disinfectants and insecticides, or dip or bathe animals. Operate snow removal equipment in order to operate feed wagons. Remove ice formed in water. Drive pick-up truck to town for cattle supplies on occasion. No CDL Required and nomercial truck driving required. Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must ad to strict biosecurity,pany policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuringpliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operatingpany vehicles. [G.1] Referrals accepted from local Job Service, Word-of-mouth, gate hires etc. Order holding office to refer applicants. Office hrs 8-5pm MT time, Mon-Fri, at (406) 853-2743. The actual employment offer is at the sole discretion of the employer. Referrals will be accepted from the State Workforce Agencies (SWAs), directly from applicants, walk-ins, gate hires, and from other sources.
