A Lead Stocker trains and supervises stock and sales associates on all inventory handling processes from receiving goods in the warehouse to stocking them on the retail floor. Manages staffing levels of stockers to enable consistent replenishment of store. Ensures fully stocked displays and shelves, including the rotation of product to prevent losses due to expiration. Oversees stockroom, performs stock room maintenance and shipping tasks.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Verify and record quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product; research out-of-stocks, shortages, and replenishment issues. Select, pull, sort, and stack products using power equipment or by hand. Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders. Coordinate warehouse labor (e.g., start of shift, vacation, and sick calls). This position has additional duties; special projects may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

18+ years of age. 1+ year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift. Supervisory experience. Basic computer skills. Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
