Job Description
At Daily Deals responsibilities include the accurate, efficient and timely execution of merchandise and stock to the sales floor and shelves of the store. Operate cash register system by processing sales timely,accuraty and efficiently. Stockers/Cashiers will also be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the store.
Ability to provide prompt and courteous service. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Primary Responsibilities:
Smile, acknowledge and greet every customer as they enter and exit the store. Be prepared to serve the customer with a positive attitude at all times. Maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor while providing fast and efficient services to customers. Help provide a safe environment by identifying and rectifying hazards and /or equipment in need of maintenance. Complete any additional responsibilities and /or duties as assigned.Stocker Responsibilities:
Assist with pricing, stocking and Merchandising inventory. This includes helping unload trucks or load trucks with inventory leaving the store. Assist with inventory to identify items that may need to be reordered or replenished. Keeping shelves, bins and equipment in a clean, orderly condition. Assist with design / setup go advertising signs and displays of merchandise on shelve, counter or tables to attract customers and promote sales. Help maintain stockroom in a neat, orderly and safe manner. Make manager aware of any products that may be damaged, unacceptable and/or expired. Remove all trash promptly, sweep and mops floors as well as keep bathrooms stocked and cleaned. Make sure the entire parking lot, dumpster area and then rear of the store are clean and clear of debris. Be available to help customers that may need assistance loading merchandise into their vehicle.Cashier Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently operate the register. Properly bag/ pack customers purchases. Call for carryout service if a customer may need assistance loading merchandise into their vehicle Maintain a neat, clean and organized work area. (Replenishing supplies when necessary.) Be knowledgeable of all rail deals and / or other promotions to ensure that customer questions and answered. Call for additional assistance as needed for increased customer traffic. Assists in handling and resolving customer issues and complaints.Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age. Skills in handling and counting cash, and ability to learn to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.Ability to provide prompt and courteous service.
