Receiver/Stocker

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocker/Receiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving shipments, and ensuring that products are stocked and organized efficiently. You will also be trained as a key-carrier, to be able to open or close the store on rare occasions if needed, and running the cash register. Your contributions will help maintain a smooth operation within our warehouse and retail environment, ensuring that customers have access to the products they need. Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and manage stock. Load and unload products from delivery trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks. Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas. Perform regular inventory control checks to ensure stock accuracy. Assist with merchandising products on the sales floor to enhance customer experience. Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse and stock areas, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient stocking and receiving processes. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries. The Receiver's work schedule will be Monday through Friday 7 am to 4 pm. This may vary due to Store staffing needs including special sales days and staffing needs due to other special situations. $2.50HR differential weekends and holidays. Skills Proficient in inventory management techniques and practices. Have a basic understanding of computers. Able to use a RF scanners for tracking inventory. Able to pull and stage all E-Commerce orders. Maintain the outside lot appearance and standards. Forklift operation skills are preferred; certification is a plus. Knowledge of inventory control methods and best practices. Familiarity with pallet jacks for moving heavy items safely. Excellent stocking, packaging, and merchandising abilities. Background in retail sales or customer service enhances candidate suitability. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and assist customers. Exceptional organizational skills to maintain order within the stock areas. Knowledge of running a register is a plus. Able to count back change.
