Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the produce department
  • Ensure that all produce is properly stocked and displayed
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
  • Train and supervise produce department staff
  • Maintain a clean and organized department
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their produce needs
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and adjust product offerings accordingly
Skills:
  • Strong math skills for inventory management and pricing calculations
  • Excellent organizational skills to maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing department
  • Effective time management to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries and orders
  • Administrative skills for record keeping, ordering, and scheduling This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for fresh produce.
