Duties Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering and cash handling transactions. Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining visual appeal throughout the store. Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment, inventory checks, and proper merchandising techniques. Use effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone. Support supervisory staff by overseeing daily store operations, supervising team members, and ensuring adherence to store policies. Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers in bilingual settings if applicable. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math calculations. Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays efficiently. Experience conducting product demos and upselling to enhance sales performance. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Prior experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous but not required.
