Williams Auction Works is an online auction company, hosting weekly home goods, consignment and estate auctions.
Job Title:
Online Auction Clerk & Merchandise Coordinator Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Online Auction Clerk & Merchandise Coordinator to join our team. Instead, you will focus on pre-auction digital cataloging, managing physical merchandise boxes, and organizing inventory. This role requires nominal lifting and moving of item boxes throughout the work day. Key Responsibilities Merchandise & Box Management Receive, sort, and organize incoming merchandise boxes. Move inventory boxes within the warehouse safely. Perform nominal lifting (up to 25-30 lbs) regularly. Label boxes accurately to match system records. Maintain a clean, organized inventory storage area. Digital Cataloging & Prep Open boxes to inspect item conditions. Take clear photographs of items for online listings. Write brief, accurate descriptions of merchandise. Upload photos and details into the auction software. Assign lot numbers to physical items and digital listings. Post-Auction & Customer Support Locate and pull items from boxes once sold. Package items securely for buyer pickup or shipping. Assist winning bidders during scheduled pickup times. Answer basic customer questions about item conditions.
Qualifications and Requirements Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand, bend, and lift boxes throughout the day.
Tech Literacy:
Comfort using smartphones, digital cameras, and basic software.
Detail-Oriented:
High accuracy when matching physical items to digital lots.
Organization:
Ability to keep track of multiple boxes and inventory categories.
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour
