A Lead Stocker trains and supervises stock and sales associates on all inventory handling processes from receiving goods in the warehouse to stocking them on the retail floor. Manages staffing levels of stockers to enable consistent replenishment of store. Ensures fully stocked displays and shelves, including the rotation of product to prevent losses due to expiration. Oversees stockroom, performs stock room maintenance and shipping tasks.

Job Description

CENTER STORE SUPPORT

Stocker in the Grocery Department, responsible for a designated merchandise area. Primary responsibilities include stocking, pricing, rotation, merchandising, housekeeping, customer relations on the salesfloor. Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned. 1.

Availability:

Must be available to be scheduled 35+hrs a week, daytime shifts, based on department needs. 2.

Previous Work Experience:

stocking experience preferred; we will train 3.

Physical Demands:

Repetitive lifting to 50#; occasional lifting to 80#.
