Team:
As a Produce Clerk, you are the face of our fresh food department. Working closely with your Produce Managers, you will help create a beautiful, welcoming shopping experience.
Creating Beautiful Displays:
Keep the department well-stocked, fronted, and looking incredibly fresh.
Welcoming Guests:
Energetically greet customers, answer questions, and help them find the perfect ingredients.
Handling Fresh Shipments:
Accurately unload, sort, and stock newly received produce and back stock.
Prepping & Packaging:
Properly wrap, weigh, label, and date various products, including our popular salad bar items.
Crafting Special Orders:
Take custom orders in person and over the phone for delicious produce trays. Maintaining a
Sparkling Space:
Share the responsibility of keeping things clean by sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and filling sample stations. Mastering the
Close:
Learn efficient department closing procedures to set the morning team up for success.
What We Are Looking For Availability:
Flexible morning and afternoon availability, including weekends.
Mindset:

Requirements:
Required Skills & Abilities:
Ability to communicate clearly Basic knife skills, including cutting and chopping Maintain a sense of urgency and thoroughness in all aspects of the position Comfortable working with the public and greeting, speaking with, and assisting customers Attention to detail, ensuring duties are completed correctly and on time Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Education & Experience:
Must be at least 18 years of age High school education
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, twisting, lifting, bending, and reaching Frequent instances of pushing, pulling, and squatting Must have the ability to move product by pushing/pulling carts and using manual/electric pallet jacks Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds frequently
