POSITION SUMMARY
The C-Shop Assistant will support the daily operations of the retail store. Responsibilities include assisting customers with product selection, processing sales transactions, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring stock levels are replenished. The C-Shop Assistant will help create a positive experience for customers by answering questions, resolving concerns, and promoting products and services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(RESPONSIBILITIES)
OF THE POSITION
C-Shop and Campus Retail Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Operate cash registers and process payments accurately Restock shelves and organize merchandise displays Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards Assist with opening and closing store procedures Assist with online sales packaging Support promotional activities and sales campaigns
QUALIFICATIONS
: High School Diploma Excellent customer service and communication skills Cash handling and POS experience Teamwork and problem solving abilities Attention to detail and organizational skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Physical mobility and ability to lift 10 pound boxes, push carts of material and handle materials as the job requires. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Occasional requirement to move around campus and in other locations, indoors and outdoors, over paved and rough terrain experiencing local temperature and weather variations.
