What You'll Do As a Stocker, you're the master of order in a world that constantly tries to create disorder. You make sure product is stocked correctly, labeled clearly, rotated properly, and exactly where it's supposed to be.
Your Day Will Include:
Assisting with receiving and verifying incoming product against purchase orders (trust, but verify). Stocking product neatly and accurately in assigned locations. Rotating inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out — we want older, but still fresh, product gone first). Replenishing pick bins so the team never hits an empty slot. Auditing pallets and checking location accuracy. Assisting with cycle counts and full physical inventory counts. Identifying and reporting damaged, missing, or misplaced product. Breaking down boxes and keeping overstock clean and organized. General warehouse cleanup (because we don't do chaos). Operating a forklift as needed (training provided). Assisting with order picking and staging when the team needs backup. Jumping in where needed — because we win as a team . When You're Caught Up (No Standing Around Club) At Bright Side, "all caught up" doesn't mean "hands in pockets." It means opportunity. If your regular duties are complete, here's how you level up: Deep clean and reorganize your assigned zone. Consolidate partial pallets and free up space. Audit top-selling SKUs for count and labeling accuracy. Fix messy locations before someone else even notices. Improve product visibility and labeling clarity. Identify slow-moving inventory that might need attention. Look for small safety hazards and eliminate them. Suggest improvements to increase efficiency.

"What can I make better today?" If someone walks through the warehouse and says, "Dang, this looks good," you probably had something to do with it. Initiative gets noticed. Ownership gets respected. Improvement gets rewarded. Required Skills, Abilities, and Experience 1 year of warehouse, distribution, or retail experience preferred. Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly. Comfortable standing, bending, and moving throughout your shift. Strong attention to detail (numbers matter here). Adaptable when plans shift — because sometimes they will. Basic computer and inventory system familiarity. Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to learn). Dependable, accountable, positive, and team-minded.
