Assistant Merchandiser We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Merchandiser to support digital product category management for a leading retail organization. What You'll Do Perform daily quality checks across e-commerce category and product pages, identifying needed content, pricing, availability, or product updates. Review product details, launch dates, imagery, descriptions, and merchandising attributes for accuracy and consistency. Create and maintain product collections, category links, filters, navigation elements, and digital merchandising content. Coordinate marketing, promotional, pricing, and product-update requests with cross-functional partners. Maintain reports, product data files, trackers, templates, and shared team documentation. Research competitor websites and summarize relevant assortment, promotional, and merchandising activity. Support seasonal campaigns, category refreshes, product launches, and other special merchandising initiatives. Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders to gather information, resolve issues, and deliver work on schedule. What You'll Bring Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Interest in e-commerce, retail merchandising, product presentation, and digital customer experience. Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced freelance environment.
