Job Description

Overview The Power Tools Maintenance/Stock Room & Inventory Control Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and safety of our facilities as well as the inventory of the company. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of tools maintenance, facility operations, ensuring that the environment is conducive to productivity and meets the needs of our staff and customers and assisting in stock and inventory controls. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and be service oriented. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring that our facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming.
Summary and Objective:
The Power Tools Maintenance/Stock Room & Inventory Control Associate oversees the completion of the day-to-day activities involving the maintenance of the tools/building/facility, equipment and machinery, including HVAC, building lighting systems, CNC machines, ovens, security and overall facility appearance as well as assist in the stock room and inventory control.
Essential Functions:
Lead all facility, grounds, and equipment maintenance and improvement efforts Ensure that tools and facility are operating efficiently Ensure that tools and building facilities adhere to proper safety standards & cleaning procedures Maintain equipment, tools & building provisions to meet health and safety requirements. Oversee timely repair and preventative maintenance schedules for tools & equipment Maintain building, tools and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocol Maintaining Stock Room & Inventory Control Communicate with external contractors and vendors as needed Collaborate with site-management and HR on building safety, security, and emergency preparedness efforts. Assist in maintaining all inspection, audit, and maintenance records Set a consistent example for others in leadership style, communication, and integrity. Work closely with Supervisor and Senior Procurement Specialist.
Characteristics and Competencies:
Thorough understanding of the tools, facilities, freezers, energy use, and equipment maintenance in an industrial setting Ability to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and cost savings effectiveness Ability to cost justify a capital budget on tools and machinery repairs, to achieve departmental efficiencies. Strong initiative and follow through. Strong problem solving/analysis skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills Understanding of Window 365 a plus
