Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Stocker to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse and retail environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining organized inventory, stocking shelves, handling materials safely, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Stock shelves efficiently by receiving shipments, organizing products, and ensuring accurate placement according to store layout and inventory management systems Operate material handling equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling tools safely and effectively Conduct regular inventory checks, perform stock counts, and assist with inventory management to prevent shortages or overstocking Load and unload deliveries by following safe lifting practices, ensuring products are handled with care to prevent damage Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area, including packing stations and storage zones Assist customers on the sales floor by providing product knowledge, answering questions, and supporting retail sales efforts Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing outgoing shipments and verifying incoming deliveries against purchase orders Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations or retail store environments with knowledge of inventory control techniques Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools safely Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stock management and merchandising tasks Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods; adherence to safe lifting practices is essential Basic math skills for counting inventory, processing transactions, and managing retail math calculations Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude that enhances the shopping experience Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards and organizational protocols Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional service while keeping our store well-stocked and organized.
