We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Grocery Stocker to unload incoming morning shipments, keep our aisles fully stocked and organized, and ensure our market is always ready for our neighbors to shop!
What You'll Do:
Receive & Unload Deliveries:
Help unload early morning delivery trucks (starting as early as 5:00 AM), break down pallets, and stage inventory so products hit the sales floor efficiently.
Keep Shelves Stocked & Shoppable:
Transport items from the backroom to stock shelves, rotate inventory for freshness (FIFO), and ensure prices and labels are accurate.
Maintain Safety, Cleanliness & Quality:
Actively check expiration dates on all products, pull outdated or damaged items off the aisles, and properly log/waste them out according to store guidelines. Keep backroom storage organized, handle equipment safely, and maintain clean, hazard-free aisles. Master the

Perform thorough store facing and detailing during closing shifts so the market looks clean, full, and presentable every morning.
Provide Proactive Customer Service:
Greet neighbors with a smile, offer help before they have to ask, and guide them through our store layout to find what they need.
Work Independently & Efficiently:
Take initiative to prioritize tasks, spot areas that need attention, and stay productive both independently and with the team.
What We're Looking For:
Early Morning Availability:
Willingness to start as early as 5:00 AM on truck delivery days, as well as working mid or closing shifts (including weekends and holidays).
Self-Motivated & Quality-Focused:
High attention to detail when checking product dates, spotting damaged goods, and keeping shelves fresh without needing constant supervision.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stay on your feet for full shifts, perform frequent bending and reaching, and safely lift/move heavy freight boxes and unload truck deliveries.
People-First Attitude:
Warm, approachable customer service and communication skills to connect with our local regulars.
Experience:
Retail or grocery receiving/stocking experience is a plus, but not required—we value strong work ethic, integrity, and a willingness to learn!
