Responsibilities Assist customers by providing knowledgeable guidance on meat cuts, preparation tips, and product selection to enhance their shopping experience Prepare meat products through slicing, trimming, and portioning using proper knife skills and meat cutting techniques Package meats efficiently and attractively to maintain freshness and meet quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat department, including sanitizing work surfaces, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with food safety regulations Support food production processes by following recipes, portion controls, and food handling procedures to ensure consistent quality Restock displays regularly to ensure product availability and visual appeal for customers Adhere strictly to food safety standards and proper handling procedures to prevent contamination or spoilage Experience Previous experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen environments is highly desirable Experience with packaging meats for retail sale while maintaining freshness and presentation standards Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and assist shoppers confidently Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a retail or culinary setting Prior work in a restaurant or culinary environment is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Join us to bring your culinary passion to life!
