Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Stocker / Store Remodel Project Associate, where you will play a vital role in maintaining organized inventory flow and supporting exciting store remodel initiatives. This energetic position involves stocking shelves, managing inventory accuracy, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient environment. Your proactive approach will help enhance the shopping experience for customers and contribute to the successful transformation of our retail space. Responsibilities Stock shelves and displays accurately using inventory management systems and RF scanners to ensure product availability and presentation standards are met. Load and unload shipments efficiently, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with store remodel projects by relocating merchandise, setting up new displays, and maintaining a tidy work area during renovations. Conduct regular inventory control checks to identify discrepancies and report issues promptly for resolution. Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying incoming deliveries and preparing outgoing shipments with proper packaging. Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and sales floor areas, including sweeping, organizing stockrooms, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product locations, answering questions in multiple languages if applicable, and supporting retail sales activities such as cashiering when needed. Experience Prior warehouse experience or retail stocking background preferred but not required; training will be provided for all new team members. Familiarity with inventory management systems, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklift operation is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on accuracy in stock control and merchandising tasks. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs. Experience working in grocery stores or retail environments involving shipping & receiving, merchandising, or produce handling is advantageous. Ability to adapt quickly during store remodel projects while maintaining a positive attitude and teamwork spirit.
