Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Production Roller plays a key role in supporting store operations by ensuring a consistent flow of merchandise from the production area to the sales floor. This position is responsible for rotating, rolling out, and stocking priced merchandise and produce in a timely and organized manner. The ideal candidate is comfortable being on their feet for extended periods and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Roll out priced merchandise from the production area to the sales floor on a rotating basis. Ensure merchandise is neatly and accurately stocked in designated areas. Maintain awareness of product rotation schedules to ensure freshness and relevance. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and backroom. Communicate effectively with the store management regarding inventory flow and floor needs. Follow all safety and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with shoppers, answering questions or directing them to appropriate staff as needed. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and backroom. Meet or exceed hourly production goals for pricing and merchandise output. Provide general support to the production area as needed.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED, preferred. Prior customer service experience, preferred. Ability to speak, read and write the English language.
Preferred/Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous retail or warehouse experience is a plus but is not required. Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as pushing carts and stocking shelves. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
Work Environment:
This position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting. Work is performed in both the production and retail areas of the store. May be exposed to varying temperatures and noise levels.
