Manages staffing levels of stockers to enable consistent replenishment of store. Ensures fully stocked displays and shelves, including the rotation of product to prevent losses due to expiration. Oversees stockroom, performs stock room maintenance and shipping tasks.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
(including but not limited to) Leads and motivates the outbound team in order preparation, picking and packing, and ensuring cut-off is achieved to meet customer and company requirements. Ensures the team abides by DOT regulations in the processing of hazardous materials, including ORM-D, per carrier requirements. Ensures team uses proper packing procedures and that adequate packing supplies and equipment are available. Ensures the maintenance of a safe working environment, according to established safety procedures. Advises management of issues that affect the efficiency of the operation. Monitors performance of team members and provides feedback to management. Recognizes training needs and implements training to ensure team is prepared. Ensures management is aware, on a regular basis, of all aspects of employee performance. Performs security checks of the building and locks and secures the building for the evening, or opens the building and prepares the distribution center for the day's business, if required.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of one year of experience in warehouse or production environment; prior experience directing work flow preferred Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively Experience with data entry on a PC Experience and knowledge in distribution processes (receiving, shipping, and inventory control) preferred Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) scanners preferred Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines Forklift Certification preferred; ability to become forklift certified required Ability to read and understand the English language to effectively read product descriptions, labels, shelves, and other product documents. Ability to understand and perform basic math to ensure accurate product quantities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be flexible to work mandatory overtime hours as needed to ensure timely customer delivery. Ability to lift and transport 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50-70 pounds on an occasional basis. Must be able to stand and/or walk on concrete for the duration of the shift and complete tasks that include bending, stooping, and reaching. Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies Ability to engage in overnight travel, if necessary (
