Our Farmhands always provide super friendly and outstanding customer service and meet our standards for speed of service, quality beverages, sandwiches, and salads. Every Farmhand (Barista) is positive, people loving, enthusiastic and works to create a fun, clean environment. Compensation will also include a Shared Tip Pool (approximately $10-$12 per hour)!
Primary Responsibilities:
§ Warmly welcome and connect with every customer. § Discovers customers needs and appropriately suggests product offerings to enhance service. § Respond to customers and sincerely thank every customer. § Prepares beverages to urban Farmhouse standards. § The quality of our coffee, specialty espresso beverages and smoothies, is in your hands. An earnest desire to develop and refine your skills is a must so that we know we are providing the community with a superior product. § If anything should go wrong with the espresso or coffee machines, get a manager immediately. § Offers customers demonstrations and available samples. § Creates opportunities for customers to interact with products. § Prepare sandwiches and salads to standard. § Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. § Follows established procedures for inventory management, including record keeping, merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products. § Complete assigned cleaning tasks in accordance with established cleaning standards. § Performs special projects to assist in store operations. § Follows cash handling procedures and POS policies. § Follows all Farmhouse policies and procedures. § Will be responsible for initiating learning and executing all Farmhouse policies and procedures according to established standards for each position. § Contributes toward profitability by seeking opportunities to increase sales, manage inventory and cost of goods control and labor costs. § Is always professional and communicate effectively with team members and customers. § Provides absolute unflagging attention to customer service and satisfaction, including speed of service, handling complaints and speedy response to requests. § Be inspired to make our customers feel better off than they were before they came!
