Role:
The Stocker plays a critical role in maintaining the organization and availability of products within a retail environment. This position ensures that shelves and storage areas are consistently stocked with merchandise, facilitating a seamless shopping experience for customers. The Stocker is responsible for receiving, unpacking, and accurately placing inventory in designated locations while adhering to safety and quality standards. By monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies, the Stocker helps prevent product shortages and supports efficient inventory management. Ultimately, this role contributes to the overall operational success and customer satisfaction of the business.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to lift and move heavy items safely, typically up to 50 pounds.

Basic math skills for inventory counting and record-keeping.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in retail stocking or warehouse operations.

Familiarity with inventory management systems or handheld scanning devices.

Knowledge of safety protocols related to material handling and storage.

Effective communication skills to interact with team members and customers.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
Receive and unload deliveries, verifying the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders.

Organize and stock merchandise on shelves, racks, or storage areas according to company guidelines and planograms.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of stockrooms and sales floors to ensure a safe and inviting environment.

Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages, damages, or discrepancies to management.

Assist customers and team members by locating products and providing information as needed.
