One weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) is required each week. If you're available both Saturday and Sunday—even better! The mission of the grocery department is to bring really great food to the people of our communities - stuff they wouldn't necessarily find at your more traditional market. You're going to be part merchandiser and part product experts. So we give you these Five Roles (the most important five things you'll be asked to do on a daily basis): Your Five Roles 1. Extra-mile service 2. Daily Stocking 3. Assist with inventory receiving 4. Maintaining a clean and organized environment 5. Bulking What you'll be doing: Accurately receive orders upon delivery "Divide and conquer" orders with instruction from the manager and team vets Bulk packaging of candies, nuts, and seasonal items Ensure that all products are labeled accurately (date, price, product) Merchandise & stock cases and shelves when working in the store Assist with inventory receiving (with the inventory receiver) when askedPhysical Requirements:
Frequently raise or lower objects up to 40 pounds from one level to another regularly Remain on feet in upright position for continuous periods of time Walk throughout store, including to other buildings and outdoor areas Exerting force on a regular basis so object is moved to or from team member Carrying objects up to 40 pounds on a regular basis Grasping and/or picking up objects Regularly reaching for objects Bending forward by bending at waist or bending legs and spine About The Woodstock Farmers Market We're a busy, year-round fresh food market with locations in Woodstock and Waterbury.
