Job Description
Job Summary The Replenishment Associate plays a vital role in ensuring that retail shelves are stocked and organized to meet customer demand. This position involves managing inventory levels, performing heavy lifting, and maintaining an efficient flow of products within the store or warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales and customer service, with a keen eye for detail in inventory management. Duties
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock on shelves as needed to ensure product availability.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks and organize products in the warehouse or stockroom.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stockroom, and warehouse areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy in stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize product placement based on retail math principles.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries regarding product availability.
- Support sales initiatives by ensuring promotional items are prominently displayed and well-stocked. Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or inventory management is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required for loading and unloading products.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
