Walmart Overnight Stocker Job Description A Walmart Overnight Stocker is responsible for ensuring merchandise is stocked, organized, and ready for customers by the start of business each day. This role primarily works overnight shifts in a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities Unload trucks and move merchandise to the sales floor or backroom Stock shelves with new freight according to store layout and guidelines Organize and zone aisles to ensure products are neat, front-facing, and easy to find Rotate inventory and remove damaged or expired products Use handheld scanners/phones or inventory tools to track and locate merchandise Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow company safety procedures Assist with setting up displays and seasonal resets as needed Stocking associates spend much of their time handling freight and working in the backroom, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, standing, lifting) Ability to work overnight hours, including weekends and holidays Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team Basic communication and time-management skills Work Environment Fast-paced, physically demanding retail setting Overnight shifts typically start 9:00 PM - 8AM Limited customer interaction compared to daytime roles
