Job Description:
We are seeking a Product Development Tech for our Brea, CA facility. This person contributes to the completion of routine technical tasks and develops solutions to routine technical problems of specified scope. Their contacts are primarily with immediate supervisors, project leaders, and other professionals in the unit.Responsibilities:
Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documents, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams and schematics). Prepare reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis. Provides completion of technical tasks. Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Helps scope equipment for use and complete qualifications. Works with team to on general lab functions, including calibration, implementation of safety procedures, and routine equipment maintenance. Notifies manager or team lead upon recognition of factors that may affect project. Helps develop prototype processes and test set-ups. Executives designed test protocols and conducts testing. Effective documents and communication test results. Handles test samples and chemicals used for conditioning and testing.Requirements:
Minimum education requirement is high school diploma, experience in a lab environment (corporate or school) or technician experience in a regulated environment for a minimum of 6 years. Experience following written procedures and working collaboratively with a team.Preferred requirement:
Bachelor of Science in a technical area and at least 1 year of experience in a laboratory/R D setting following written procedures and working collaboratively with a team.Preferred Requirement:
