Engineering Technician I

The Engineering Technician I supports engineering, prototyping, and new product development activities by performing routine technical tasks under general supervision. This role fabricates prototype filters, operates R D and production equipment in accordance with SOPs, assists with test execution, and maintains high standards of documentation and manufacturing practices. The technician works closely with cross functional partners in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to help achieve project goals. • This role is expected to model our Leadership Behaviors—Integrity & Compliance, Customer Focus, Collaboration, Courage, Team Empowerment, and Accountability & Results—in all aspects of work. Responsibilities & Qualifications Manufacture novel prototype filters with minimal precedent, applying sound judgment and hands‑on problem‑solving. Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to support project objectives and timelines. Assist in executing test protocols and experiments in a supporting role. Follow good documentation and manufacturing practices in alignment with operating procedures. Operate R D and production equipment safely and consistently per SOPs. Perform routine technical and engineering tasks following established processes, procedures, and SOPs. Qualifications 1+ years in a GMP or medical device assembly/production environment. Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary project teams Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; ability to learn SAP. Experience with hollow fiber filter manufacturing or testing is preferred. Hands-on experience in a production environment is preferred SolidWorks experience is desired. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with internal teams. The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $24.00/Hr -$32.49/Hr. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
