Position Summary:
The Monitor Technician, under the direction and supervision of the Administrative Director, is responsible for: Observing the cardiac oscilloscope, documenting and mounting rhythm tracings; Manning the nursing station; performing clerical and receptionist duties, and requisitioning supplies, equipment, and services from other departments. The incumbent will assure accuracy, flexibility and utilize high organization skills and positive communication techniques when communicating with all individuals.
Qualifications:
Prefer graduate of Nursing Assistant Program, Medical Office Technology Program. Medical terminology required. Knowledge of computer software and hardware, Microsoft skills helpful. Prefer Minimum one year Nursing Assistant work experience or equivalent. Proven organizational and positive communication skills. Requires Madera Community Hospital Basic Arrhythmia Exam course certification with score 80% or above.
