Full-Time Base Salary:
$50,000 + Uncapped Commission On-Target Earnings (OTE): $80,000•100,000+ Fleet Owl is a rapidly growing logistics technology company helping transportation, trucking, and logistics businesses streamline operations, improve visibility, and drive efficiency through innovative software solutions. We are seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team in Plantation, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional looking to build a career in software sales with a company that offers strong earning potential, ongoing training, and significant growth opportunities. What You'll Do Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts, including phone calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other sales channels. Identify and engage decision-makers within transportation, logistics, trucking, and supply chain organizations. Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective customers. Research target accounts and uncover opportunities for Fleet Owl's software solutions. Track activities and opportunities within the CRM system. Collaborate with sales and leadership teams to develop effective prospecting strategies. Consistently meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and appointment-setting goals. Qualifications Previous B2B sales, business development, inside sales, or customer-facing experience preferred. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging new prospects daily. Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented. Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. Experience selling software, technology, logistics, transportation, or business services is a plus. CRM experience preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Preferred Background Experience selling to businesses in the New York and New Jersey markets is highly valued. Familiarity with transportation, trucking, logistics, fleet management, or supply chain industries is a plus. Proven ability to build relationships with business owners and operational leaders.
